You carry a lot. Programs to fill, a budget to balance, people to keep. And somewhere in the middle, a question you may not say out loud: Is this what Jesus meant?
A full building and a good sermon, on their own, do not make disciples. People are formed one life at a time, and then they are sent. I have spent nearly forty years helping people and churches move from attendance toward that kind of formation, including serving as a missional discipleship coach with Church Resource Ministries (now Novo Mission) from 2010 to 2018, and in the years since, wherever I’ve found a meaningful partnership.
If you are a pastor or leader ready to think differently about discipleship and spiritual formation, I would like to hear your story. We can start with a conversation.
