Ready for a Halftime Adjustment!

It’s July! That means the second half of 2025 is kicking off.
As June ended and the clock counted down to 0:00, what did your scoreboard display about your year so far? In your estimation, based on your game plan and your expectations, what's your score? Would you consider yourself ahead or behind?
If you are ahead of your expectations, good for you. What would you attribute this to?
Your skill?
Your attitude?
Your circumstances aligned?
If you are not where you thought you would be, why?
Skills problem?
Attitude challenge?
Adversity detriment?
What matters is now looking forward with halftime adjustments based on your knowledge of what happened in the first half.
As you prepare to kick off your second half, after an abbreviated halftime, we are always afforded a break courtesy of our USA Independence Day, July 4.
What are one to three expectations you will carry over into your second half that will satisfy your desires, vision, and expectations for 2025?
Consider and write down one adjustment you feel would be advantageous per expectation/hope before 31 December. Considering that determination, now I would encourage you to go intentionally in your pursuit by…
· One commitment you will make to yourself that will give you an advantage.
· One ask that you make of a strategic friend, mentor, or acquaintance.
Finally, spiritualize the process… How?
· Scripture – What is a promise of God, a challenge of the Spirit, or an instruction of Jesus that will further you to conquer your challenge ahead?
· Testimony – Look for someone’s story of faith, courage, or conquering a challenge that inspires you, informs you, and encourages you.
· Prayer – Write a consistent prayer, based on the Word, that you will pray confidently in faith from what you see in God’s Word and the testimony of another for your expectation to be met.
So, be ready, the second half is ready to kick off!
